Hotel de l'Universite Paris

The "chemin des Treilles" was one of the alleys of Reine Margot's garden and became the "Rue de l'Université" in the 17th century. This quarter of Saint Germain des Pres was fist inhabited by Dominican, Carmelite and Visitation convents.

Here at the hotel, the reception area, the lounges and the crypt get ancient furniture. The hotel itself offers a delightful antique decor with vaulted ceilings, oak pillars, magnificent staircases and fireplaces which all recall the Benedictin convent it used to be. A surprising collection of antiques, knick-knacks, armchairs and sofas put the finishing touch.
